The Urban Oasis Development team includes Sims Real Estate Group (Sims REG), which launched in 2006 and is an award-winning real estate company focused on building and renovating superior single-family homes within intown Atlanta markets such as city of Decatur, Kirkwood, Westside, Historic Adair Park and Historic West End.  We specialize in developing infill lots, which includes both major renovations of older homes and new construction of homes and townhomes.   

We have maintained a competitive advantage through an emphasis on unique designs and emerging urban locations.  Homes we develop are appealing to intown buyers because each home is carefully planned, custom designed and passionately crafted with a superior level of finish.  A key strength is that we are a design-build development company.  Hence, we are able to better manage project risk since we control the cost, appearance and outcome of our projects.  

Our initial infill single family homes in the still transitioning Atlanta neighborhood of Kirkwood/East Lake provided the basis for our model working in non-traditional neighborhoods that had been neglected for decades but showed potential for stabilization and growth due to market dynamics and proximity to the central city amenities.  

Our approach is Real Estate as a Community Development Tool.
